Wednesday..........drip drip

Hello from drippy wet Idaho.................but I love it because it means the grass will soon be green and the flowers will be popping their little heads up.........spring is on the way. Outside the church we have little daffodils getting ready to bloom!! I was in the store the other day and could not pass up some spring bulbs that were in bloom.........I get so anxious this time of year to open windows and breath "real air"!

Where ever you are in your little corner of the world I hope the sun is shining in your heart.

I haven't been posting for a few days......probably ok since I have not linked this with many. Our new Grandson was over last night.....we babysat. He is 18 days old and such a sweetie...good baby not fussy.........love spending time with him and so does dear hubby.

I really need to get this blog going. I am thinking of some fun things to do...like some extra scrapping supplies....new....that I need to share.

Saturday evening.....scrapping time

Working on 12 x 12 pages of the new grandson. He is just so cute I get distracted with looking at the pictures......tooooooo cute!!!

Been on the We Scrap board off and on. If you do not visit there you should...lots of fun and information. I will add their link one of these first days. They are having a Valentine scrapfest and the challenges are really fun.....so are the games. I am waiting for the make 'n take tomorrow. Hope I can find time to get on there for a while.

It was another beautiful day and made me long for the real Spring to be here so we can get out in the yard and plant some new things.

Wednesday.......another delightful day!

Wow, this week is speeding along. I finished a 6 x 6 album for our new grandson.....will post if I can figure it out here soon. It is actually looking like spring today or it is my wishful thinking. The sunshine gives me energy. January and February are never my fav months due to the cold, although I do love to see the snow all shiney and clean for a while.
Finishing up Valentines this Friday and Saturday so I can get them in the mail and deliver the goodies to my volunteers at church. It is time to show those around you that you love them.....tho we should do that everyday....this gives us a special excuse!

It's Monday again and the weekend flew by. On Friday I spent the day at the hospital waiting for our beautiful grandson to be born and at 12:23 p.m. he made his entrance. He has dark hair and is just a beautiful child. It is a feeling of awe to think I am now Grandma!!!! Plans for spoiling are being worked out as we speak!

Hope anyone who may read this is having a wonderful week. I also spent Friday night and all day Sat. in a training seminar.........my brain is way full!! I am looking forward to some creative things tomorrow. Finishing the new baby's album for one so I can give it to mom and dad on Thursday.

A Sunny Monday

The sun was shining today.....even tho it was very cold. Just seeing the sun makes it seem warmer!

I just spent 2 hours surfing the web trying to find a pattern for an adult size crocodile costume......had already been to the fabric store and checked the books. No luck. You would think there would be one out there somewhere. Need to make a costume for hubby to wear for this years VBS. If anyone out there can point me in the direction of one I would be forever grateful!!!

Awesome Sunday

Leading a childrens ministry means that Sundays are a very busy day for me.....and I love it!!!! It was a great day with the kids. They are amazing.....challenging and full of the best questions.

We did a fun thing in snacks.....made snowmen to eat. Put 2 marshmallows on a stick....added freatures with Wilton food coloring pens, topped them with flat chocolate discs and a candy kiss. They loved making them and even more eating them!!! We had a dusting of snow today, so it was perfect timing.

Papercrafting on a rainy Saturday

It is a rainy Sat. here and I have the day off, so decided to work on some paper crafting. I just finished my Valentines and the boxes for my church volunteers..........so what next. I pulled out a couplde packets for paper boxes by K & Company that I have had for a while and am having fun making the cute, cute paper boxes and purses. I am thinking these will be really fun Easter baskets to give with some fun candy inside. Thinking ahead!

I will be working on adding pictures as quickly as I can find time. I love the blogs that show you projects. I get so inspired by all that creativity!!

Off I go to work on them some more and do a wreath for the chapel at church..........so many projects, so little time......

I have been playing with this site and see I have a long way to go, but........I will get there. I need to get in gear and work on some Valentine cards and the baby album for our first grandson due in February. Maybe I can get some things posted up here. All sorts of new challenges for me. I have not done that before. Well...........every great journey begins with a step........Barb
